Initiatives In California

Some main initiatives proposed, in November of 2016 in California, dealt with the death penalty, the legalization of marijuana, and gun control. The death penalty was the most popular initiative proposed in the state of California. The propositions were to abolish it completely and to change the length of time left before given the death penalty. The death penalty was not abolished but the length of time is usually five years but is now changed.
